The North Yorkshire Rotters play a key role in mitigating climate change within North Yorkshire by promoting LoveFoodHateWaste, Home Composting and Recycling & Reuse.

Supporting North Yorkshire Council’s ‘Beyond Carbon’ programme by engaging with schools, community groups and members of the public across North Yorkshire to reduce the impact of climate change.

Beyond Carbon is committed to reducing carbon emissions, with the aspiration for North Yorkshire Council to achieve net carbon neutrality by 2030, or as near to that date as possible.
